Subject:Who'll be first to go ?
 Hey all,

Word is ..... Black's running a book on who'll be the first to drop out. Betting is that the Snowdon test run will sort the men from the boys, and we'll see some movement then.

Subject:Cooking equipment
 Hi Guys and Lynn

Need to find out if anyone has got a camping cooker and pans so that Roachy and I can cook you something when you come off the mountains. Also need 4 x 25 litre water containers to transport our drinking water - apparently drinking water at Scafell Pike is in short supply - there isn't any !

Can you let me know please.

Someone please help me educate "Stavros" Welshy.

He turned up for a first big training walk in a pair of walking boots, tracky bottoms, waterproof coat and a t-shirt. No drink, no food. Is the man a camel ?? All credit to him, he kept up the pace, unlike the Monkster. B Bus is calling Monk !!! It was a good first walk, 18 miles in total and I would like to thank both of them for the banter.

ps. Monk remember the "skipper" in Ely.

Another great effort by the CAMEL and Mr Atkinson. Walked round Gratham Waters and just needed drink Black. It took us over 3 hours and the total mileage was, ask the Atko cos i haven't got a bloody clue. Where was everbody else i hear myself cry ? I took to much out of them last week, that's the answer to that question. Keep on training guy's. The camel is signing of. By the way Chris, no coco butter in site.

Subject:Nails !!!!
unconfirmed reports are circulating today that a member of the team who wishes to remain anonymous, took in an extensive training session on Sunday. The session was so demanding that blisters were evident on blisters. All this pain was quickly forgotten with a visit to the local nail salon for a quick manicure and paint !! That was mid-training session, not at the end of it ! Wonder who that would have been ?

Subject:Dimmock's Cote Loop Walk
I am planning a walk for Saturday 2nd May starting out from Waterbeach walking along the river and fields up to Dimmock's Cote bridge, crossing over the river and then back to Waterbeach via the the river. This is a distance of approx 13 miles and is a very nice walk to get away from it all. Would anyone like to join myself, Black and the camel on this walk, we will be meeting at Waterbeach station at 7:30am, all welcome.

Subject:How did your "walking" weekend go?
I got down to Cornwall at the weekend for some trainng on the long distance coast path. Did a warm up 5 miler on Saturday after the over night drive down. Got in a full on 15 miler around the Lands End peninsular on Sunday (nice and up & down with a good mix of surface). A nice steady 5 mile recovery walk on Monday before heading home.

Subject:Jigsaw
Has anyone tried the new jigsaw quiz. I know it is a stunning picture, but after completing it I felt incomplete!!! Their are 10 pieces missing, or am I just "going to pieces".
